I have been struggling to find a silver fine point pen for my cricut explore air 2 machine, and no one makes one that fits, at least that is what I thought until I found this!!! sad that it is on clearance. maybe the silver will be available in another pack for me when the one I purchased runs dry, these slick writers last a good long timethough!!
I was so excited for these pens! The pinky was okay, the teal was really just green. The grey however...it was my favorite journaling pen, and was such a great change from black or brown. But it dried out within a few months of purchase, and I used it on maybe 10 layouts?! I was so bummed, especially since the other colors are going strong still. :(
I like the colors. I just wish the tips were more like the Amy Tangerine pen tips and not so fine...I feel like I might press too hard and break the tips.
So pleased with these pens.
The colours are great, and something different to the usual black or brown.
The pens feel comfortable in your hand, and they write smoothly.
I would not recommend these pens! The first set I ordered all 3 were dry and didn't work. Scrapbook.com sent me another set and only one of the pens worked. Will not ask for another set!
These pens are gorgeous colors paticularly the gray. The first set I got the gray worked beautifully but the other 2 dried up extremely quickly. I ordered another set. None of the colors worked at all they were bone dry and I rolled them thinking the ink just needed to get flowing and they then leaked. I contacted scrapbook.com who sent me another set right away which came within 2 days but sadly it was the same story , completely dry. I didn't bother sending them back just made a note not to buy AC pens again, such a shame.
The quality of these pens are not what I expected from American Crafts. The ink comes out inconsistently like the pen is almost out of ink. It makes it difficult to use for journaling which is what I bought them for.
I really love these pens as they write beautifully but unfortunately, the ink dried up in two of the pens just after a few uses.
