    Just recieved..

Excited to try out these crayons!! Seems the same, yet different from the distress crayons. More of a pastel media. Let me say that I was disappointed in how the crayons arrived...all the tops were mushed. So, obviously very soft and (in my opinion) poor package design. This is the main reason for a "3 star" rating.

I started playing with these today by trying the drip technique. I am impressed with how the color carried from top to bottom with the water...blended very nice as welll so looking forward to more play and techniques.

    • Hello, no there aren’t any color descriptions listed, but they are beautiful and I really like them. Have two boxes on this color in fact. Don’t think you can go wrong by giving them a try. Think the color description that a prior person listed are pretty close to what I see as well, hope that helps. By: Khumbu (30-Mar-22) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Can your art crayons be used on fabric and if so, is the color permanent? Or, if the color on fabric can be made permanent...is that done with the heat of an iron?   By: jburke227 (30-Oct-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • These are water-soluble art crayons and not permanent colors. By: Scrapbook.com (30-Oct-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • I have successfully added an acrylic fabric medium to water soluble crayons and pencils and used them on fabric. It requires experimenting. Follow instructions for the fabric mediums in terms of heat setting or cure time. I scribble crayon on a mat or palette and then add acrylic fabric medium so that I don’t get the medium on the crayon. I have projects that are now about 10 years old that didn’t chip or fade.
