They are quick and easy, plus you can make coordinating envelopes! Instructions:

  • Cut your standard slimline and mini slimline cards according to the measurements on the front of the board with your paper cutter (sold separately)
  • Lift up the arm, place the paper in the corner, score with the scoring tool, and then fold on the lines using it as a bone folder for a nice crease
  • Cut the correct size for your envelope according to the measurements on the front of the board
  • Lift up the arm, place the paper in the corner, and cut along the track for the top of the envelope
  • Score in both directions as indicated on the front of the board
  • Flip your paper over and repeat these steps on the reverse side
  • Rotate your paper and repeat the steps for both sides on the bottom of the paper
  • The envelope is ready to fold, use the bone folder for creases
  • Add strong tape to the sides of the envelope and press down to secure the flaps
  • Repeat on the other side
  • Your horizontal envelope is ready to put a card into
  • Repeat the same steps for the mini slimline card
  • Add a half-circle notch in the center of the top of the envelope, not in the flap, so your card or tag will be easier to pull out on the mini slimline envelope

It is easy to use, portable, the same great quality as other products from We R Makers, and aqua color to match all your existing products. Slimline Punch Board

Very easy to use & now slimline envelopes are a breeze to make. For anyone that has "senior moments" like I do I would recommend watching the video as opposed to reading the instructions. In my opinion rotate & flip are 2 different things & if you rotate your envelope as per the instructions, it is not going to turn out right! However, if your flip the paper you'll have a very nice slimline envelope.

    Nice, but poor instructions

I usually like these punch boards, but this one came with practically no instructions. You'll need to find the video and even then, it isn't clear that you need to turn the paper over, as well as rotate it, to get the proper envelope shape. The little cutter is not built in. It is loose and has to be inserted each time the cuts are made. It isn't smooth, and I wish it was fixed in the slot instead of loose. You'll get the envelope eventually, but this is a bit too fiddly.

    Slimline envelopes to go

I’ve used this envelope maker a few times now, and still find it awkward to use. The instructions that come with it need to be changed as they say to cut on the 4 corners. They do not say that you need to flip the paper over on the second and fourth sides. I was a little disappointed in this device and will probably still use my regular envelope maker as it has sizes for slimline.

TO YOU WHO IMMEDIATELY GET THE INSTRUCTIONS, DON’T READ THIS - YOU’LL THINK I AND OTHERS LIKE ME ARE WEIRD!

To those having difficulty using this product, don’t despair- you can do it! I have some suggestions. I had difficulty at first too. I found it easier to use AFTER reading the instructions AND watching the video - several times! I sometimes have trouble understanding instructions. ADHD person here! I think most people get it immediately - if you don’t, it’s okay, give yourself grace. I’ve learned that it’s ok to not understand instructions immediately - some of us (even those that are not even ADHD) just need extra time and repetition for our brains to get it! My brain works in slo-mo- - it used to be embarrassing but I accept that fact now! I did read/watch the instructions. And read and watched 2 more times! The third I watched the video at 75% speed. My brain finally got it! When my envelope maker arrives. I’ll be able to use it - umm may need to look at and view those instructions again though! Good luck to you!

Maker of beautiful Cards and Envelopes

I collect We R Memory Keepers Punchboards and other We R Memory Keepers merchandise. The Slimline Envelope Maker doesn't have the punch button. So that's why We R Memory Keepers call it the "Maker". Love it! It makes beautiful slimline envelopes and cards.

    Terrific Purchase

This slimline envelope maker is amazing! It’s easy to follow the directions to creat two sizes of envelopes. I can add these, along with the coordinating cards, to my inventory. I’ve been using two-sided cardstock to creat some beautiful products! Love it!

  • Envelopes

I like this envelope maker. The blade sticks a little around the corner at first, but after a couple times using it is smoother. This will be good to make envelopes for my date book and journal and travel planers. To make mini envelops. I'm going to have fun playing with this

Where is the "punch" part? It says punch board, the other regular envelope board has a punch to round the corners of your envelope. This one says make a half circle notch in envelope to make getting card out easily. Where is the punch/notch located on the board? Not shown in either video.   By: User (28-Dec-23) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Hello! There is not a punch on this board as the cutting tool on top has a blade that is used to cut along the blade guide to form the curved shape of the envelope flaps as shown in the videos. I do hope this information is helpful. Happy New Years! By: Scrapbook.com (29-Dec-23) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
