I've been able to get a lot of brads, paper clips,etc. in this item. I then could discard my craft mates container which is extremely difficult for me to open. It widens when open but stays the same height. Looks really nice on my shelf. I just bring it down when I want to use it. It's nice and lightweight, also, even when filled.

You get brilliant! Terrifically cute and functional design for storing those smaller pieces of "what nots". Different sized compartments hold a variety of googly eyes, buttons, little clothes pins, beads, and baubles all in one place. With a twist the "bud" opens out into full flower displaying what is hidden within right at your fingertips! Another twist and the flower closes up again safely tucking away those tiny embellishments and leaving the crafter with more workspace...BRILLIANT!

I originally purchased the Bloom for cardmaking related embellishments but alas! my untidy crystals/beads were calling and theyve never been organised better. Everything together in one gorgeous container on my desk.Because its on display ive been using my beads alot more because theyre not tucked away in a box,on a shelf, in a cupboard. I would recommend the Bloom for any and all your small embellishment storage.

I have a lot of embellishments - but some I need to keep close to my craft table (use them a lot). This storage tool is absolutely convenient - I have used it several times since receiving it 3 days ago. I love this - I would recommend it to anyone needing a space for brads, beads, embellishments. I also love the way it opens - so cool.

This is great for you embellishments and holds quite a bit. I put a lot of Tim holtz products in it and it looks cute on my desk. My only gripe is that it doesn't completely close flush to the sides on some compartments unless you tap it with your finger. But that's only a problem if you are ocd

Love this storage unit! Very functional - holds lots of embellishments and so lovely to look at. It is compact enough when closed but has plenty of room to store lots of gems and other goodies - there are both larger and smaller trays - even storage in the very top of the unit. The colour is a great shade of soft turquoise. Adds glam to my craft room. I'm glad someone came out with a decorative storage unit instead of the same old square or rectangular box.

Opened, this is bigger than you think, but it is awesome!
This has so many different sized compartments to keep all sorts of embellishments, small punches, brads, everything you can think of.
I am loving having everything together and it is not only convenient, it's beautiful.
I don't know who designed this but I hope they design more things!

If the unit is grabbed and carried somewhere or falls to the floor (when closed) - do the contents in each compartment STAY in their compartment or do they mix/spread into another compartment (petal)?

How deep are the individual sections? 1 inch or less?

There are 3 levels: The top level is less than 0.5 inch deep, the second lever is 05. inches deep and the bottom level is a little than than 1 inch of usable depth.
