      It is a magnetic frame, a top piece and a bottom piece that your cardstock or paper is held between. It is made of plastic with magnets around the edges. The bottom piece is deeper which makes it very easy to hold without wrinkling your paper. The kit comes with easy to follow instructions.     Where can we buy other colors of thread for the Stitch Happy Pen set? What is available on this website looks like it is for the sewing machine, it comes with a bobbin. I would like the thicker thread that is included with my set now. just in other colors.

      I bought the thread they sell for their sewing machines. It is the thicker thread like came with the pen. You can get a lot of different colors here but you can also get it at hobby lobby in the sewing area. They have very limited colors at hobby lobby but you can use a coupon and get one to make sure it works for you before ordering the colors on scrapbook.com.
