I am 100% completely new to stamping and cardmaking, and after settling on the We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced system, I thought, "Okay, so this thing's for patterns, but I don't foresee myself doing patterns right off the bat, do I really need this...?" I haven't done patterns, yet (plaid is definitely in my future), but this little beauty is STILL awesome. I haven't even used the regular full-sized block that goes with the board, yet, lol.
I'm doing Christmas cards, and it is super easy to line up sentiments and itty bitty stamps (Bethlehem star and lots of random tiny companion stars) with this tool. I could, technically, use the standard WRMKPPA block, but having something that is smaller and less bulky has its advantages.
The only disadvantage to this tool is that the non-holey end isn't quite as easy to line up perfectly when restamping. There's a little bit of vertical play in it. This could very well be because I'm not actually stamping on a table, but balancing the entire apparatus on a 7" wide (by 8" long) surface. I'm still able to line everything up, it just requires extreme care and good eyesight.
I don't have any standard acrylic blocks; just the WRMK stamping system. I also don't have any experience with other platforms, but I'm totally satisfied with what I have.
I just tried it out and you can line up stamps and stamp them in rows to make patterns, brilliant idea, it works really well.
Wish I had something like this ages ago. Makes positioning so much easier. If I miss a spot easy to re ink and fix .
I LOVE this TOOL ,Have had so much fun with it!! So easy and Perfect stamping makes me LOOK like A PROFESSIONAL STAMPER !
I have other stamping platforms but find Use these MRMK the most. I like the shape of this Precision Press
