Like the others have noted, assembly was a nightmare. The cheap screws and threads were challenging. But the biggest issue is that the trays are all warped. They do not lay flat at all. One side of the tray is 1 inch higher than the other side and they are all like this. The trays need to be made of a firmer material. I wish I could attach a picture. I do not recommend. Buy a commercial bakers rack instead. They are very sturdy.
This cart arrived yesterday and was the single most frustrating thing I've ever put together. I've assembled lots of things and this one required you to be an octopus in order to hold all the parts in the right place and screw them together. There are a few design changes which might have made it a bit easier, but after assembly it's pretty sturdy.
One of the frames for the trays was defective in my package. I've contacted the manufacturer - I'm cure they will send me a replacement. No stars were removed for this, just a note if you have extra trouble with a rack to inspect it closely.
I'm slightly disappointed in the trays -- they are bendier than I thought they'd be - I was hoping for something heavier and rigid - more like cafeteria trays.
Overall I think it will serve my needs in the long run.
I was so excited to think that I could separate and hold the items I’m using on all my different ongoing projects! It’s a great idea and would definitely work if only the designers would have tested it out before proceeding with the design. I immediately saw that it was a problem. I had no trouble putting it together but as soon as I put one tray on and bumped it putting the other ones on and all it takes is a slight bump or touch and the tray falls right off. This happens empty and more so when they are loaded up, so I’m constantly picking up things from the floor and putting it all back. I hate it so much. If you roll it, they fall off, if you touch it they fall. They may or may not fall completely off in the floor but just falling enough to tilt it all back and have it heavier in the back now and the trays are thin so it’s hard to right it. Then as soon as you get it back on, you may bump it and off it goes again. The lips that hold it on are just not made to hold it. Totally annoying thing, don’t waste your money. Also one tray came broken on the end. It’s not like WeR to have such low quality, so disappointing.
I love this idea it’s going to solve many of my multiple project ideas. It’s very nice. It was really difficult to put together. I tried it myself and could not do it. It took my husband and I 2 and 1/2 hours to finally get it together. Some tips: use the longer screws for the bottom row. The poles will fall ove, so use about 4 of the trays to hold them down. I hope this helps. We laughed that if we had both had another arm, it would have been easy.
I love the idea of this cart. I love the actual physical product. Size of the trays is great. Very helpful that they are backstopped from sliding out the other side. I would just say that it was not easy to put together for one person. I needed another set of hands to hold pieces while I was inserting the screws. I eventually got it assembled myself and am finding it very useful.
I was so excited to get this. It was easy enough to put together, however some of the pieces were mangled and didn’t go together. I call it the leaning tower of Pisa because the cart is flimsy and leaning at a slant. It is pretty much useless.
I bought the WRMK storage cart because I don’t have a lot of surface space in my studio, and thought it would be the perfect solution. The cart rolls easily, but there is no way to lock the wheels. The six plastic cafeteria style trays are lightweight, sturdy and easy to remove. The trays sort of lock into place so each “shelf” is stable. It is great for works in process, if you are like me and have several projects going at once. I bought the cart over a year ago, and don’t recall having had a difficult time assembling.
I almost did not buy this cart because of the bad reviews. But i took a chance on it & Im glad I did. You may need an extra set of hands to hold it while you put it together, but literally my 9 yr old assembled it while I held the frame. The trays are plastic but are sturdy and sit down into their frames, so I don't see how anything could tip out. I think it is very good quality & Im very glad I got it
I have been looking at this cart for quite some time. I cannot believe I didn't buy it sooner. It is wonderful to separate the many projects I have. If I could find the space, I'd buy another.
Nicely sized- not too big and not too small. Rolls well and trays stay in place. So handy to keep items organized qnd easily reached without using all your workspace. It is an organizer's best friend.
