    Great idea; terrible execution

Like the others have noted, assembly was a nightmare. The cheap screws and threads were challenging. But the biggest issue is that the trays are all warped. They do not lay flat at all. One side of the tray is 1 inch higher than the other side and they are all like this. The trays need to be made of a firmer material. I wish I could attach a picture. I do not recommend. Buy a commercial bakers rack instead. They are very sturdy.

    Handy Cart

This cart arrived yesterday and was the single most frustrating thing I've ever put together. I've assembled lots of things and this one required you to be an octopus in order to hold all the parts in the right place and screw them together. There are a few design changes which might have made it a bit easier, but after assembly it's pretty sturdy.

One of the frames for the trays was defective in my package. I've contacted the manufacturer - I'm cure they will send me a replacement. No stars were removed for this, just a note if you have extra trouble with a rack to inspect it closely.

I'm slightly disappointed in the trays -- they are bendier than I thought they'd be - I was hoping for something heavier and rigid - more like cafeteria trays.

Overall I think it will serve my needs in the long run.

  • Does not work!

I was so excited to think that I could separate and hold the items I’m using on all my different ongoing projects! It’s a great idea and would definitely work if only the designers would have tested it out before proceeding with the design. I immediately saw that it was a problem. I had no trouble putting it together but as soon as I put one tray on and bumped it putting the other ones on and all it takes is a slight bump or touch and the tray falls right off. This happens empty and more so when they are loaded up, so I’m constantly picking up things from the floor and putting it all back. I hate it so much. If you roll it, they fall off, if you touch it they fall. They may or may not fall completely off in the floor but just falling enough to tilt it all back and have it heavier in the back now and the trays are thin so it’s hard to right it. Then as soon as you get it back on, you may bump it and off it goes again. The lips that hold it on are just not made to hold it. Totally annoying thing, don’t waste your money. Also one tray came broken on the end. It’s not like WeR to have such low quality, so disappointing.

    What a great idea!

I love this idea it’s going to solve many of my multiple project ideas. It’s very nice. It was really difficult to put together. I tried it myself and could not do it. It took my husband and I 2 and 1/2 hours to finally get it together. Some tips: use the longer screws for the bottom row. The poles will fall ove, so use about 4 of the trays to hold them down. I hope this helps. We laughed that if we had both had another arm, it would have been easy.

    Very Practical

I love the idea of this cart. I love the actual physical product. Size of the trays is great. Very helpful that they are backstopped from sliding out the other side. I would just say that it was not easy to put together for one person. I needed another set of hands to hold pieces while I was inserting the screws. I eventually got it assembled myself and am finding it very useful.

    Great idea, poor design.

I was so excited to get this. It was easy enough to put together, however some of the pieces were mangled and didn’t go together. I call it the leaning tower of Pisa because the cart is flimsy and leaning at a slant. It is pretty much useless.

    Great solution

I bought the WRMK storage cart because I don’t have a lot of surface space in my studio, and thought it would be the perfect solution. The cart rolls easily, but there is no way to lock the wheels. The six plastic cafeteria style trays are lightweight, sturdy and easy to remove. The trays sort of lock into place so each “shelf” is stable. It is great for works in process, if you are like me and have several projects going at once. I bought the cart over a year ago, and don’t recall having had a difficult time assembling.

  • Almost missed out

I almost did not buy this cart because of the bad reviews. But i took a chance on it & Im glad I did. You may need an extra set of hands to hold it while you put it together, but literally my 9 yr old assembled it while I held the frame. The trays are plastic but are sturdy and sit down into their frames, so I don't see how anything could tip out. I think it is very good quality & Im very glad I got it

    Love!

I have been looking at this cart for quite some time. I cannot believe I didn't buy it sooner. It is wonderful to separate the many projects I have. If I could find the space, I'd buy another.

    Declutter Workspace

Nicely sized- not too big and not too small. Rolls well and trays stay in place. So handy to keep items organized qnd easily reached without using all your workspace. It is an organizer's best friend.

  • What is the weight limit for this cart? Do I need to limit weight on each tray?   By: karenscrapbooks (11-Sep-23) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I don't know the weight limit for this cart. I bought this cart specifically for using each tray for different projects. I have the trays stacked with papers, embellishments and dies, but I don't have any of my cutting machines on the cart. By: SFtess654 (13-Sep-23) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • In my opinion, No. You can only fit so much stuff in between each tray so I don’t believe weight limit is a consideration. I have two of these carts and each tray is jam packed full of all sorts of crafty items. Additionally, I have the top tray stacked 5 high with boxes and containers of die cuts and embellishments, and I have never had an issue. • I keep my cart pretty full and it continues to roll easily. Sometimes I keep my Spellbinders Platinum on the cart and it’s fine. If I had more room I’d purchase another one. • will this cart fit under an ikea desk that is 27.5 inches high? I am seeing different measurement, so I would like to know from someone that has one.   By: cstandrew (12-Mar-21) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • If you did not put the wheels on it, it would just barely fit. You would not be able to roll it out. You would have to put it in the wide way so you could get the trays out. Also, the top tray would not hold more than a few pieces of paper. I usually do a bunch of projects at the same time and get all the pieces all mixed up. This cart is very helpful, but not really sturdy. i use mostly papers and small trims and cardstock cutouts. I hope this helps. I have looked for something like this for years and this one is the only one that I could find. By: katrinegaley (19-Mar-21) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! When these are back in stock will there be colors to match the 3 bin carts? I waited for them, now sold out, but do not want to buy one until they come in colors.   By: User (20-Mar-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
