How to use your Singe Quill pen:

1. Select the appropriate adapter (A-Silhouette, B-Brother, C-Cricut, D-Sizzix) for your electronic cutting machine.
2. Insert the Singe Quill into the machine carriage and follow your machine's instructions for fastening it. If your machine has blade and pen carriages, use the pen carriage. Ensure the pen is fully inserted into the carriage.
3. Select desired wood ephemera or sheet.
4. Be sure to place your material on the mat in an area that is clear from the machine's roller wheels/mechanisms.
5. Follow your machine's individual instructions for using the drawing pen.
6. After the drawing is complete, remove your wood from the mat.
7. Use a heat gun/tool (sold separately) or your oven to activate the specialized singe ink and create your burned pattern.

Tips and safety reminders for using your Singe Quill:

• Works on wood, paper, cardstock, and bookboard. PLEASE NOTE: Your material of choice must be able to hold up to the heat level required for the singe ink to activate.
• Singe quality may vary depending on your machine's settings and the material of choice. Test different settings until you're satisfied with the results.
• Singe ink is clear until activated with heat; the singe ink will get darker the longer it is exposed to heat.
• Use a heat tool or oven at 350° for 2-3 minutes for ink to activate. Do not leave any project unattended when activating with a heat tool or oven.
