You'll have tons of creative fun with the Maggie Holmes Designer Die Set that is part of the Revolution Collection by We R Memory Keepers. Included in the set are 9 thin metal dies that are in the shapes of a lemon, a deer, flowers, a silhouette, a bow, and more. They are compatible with most die cutting machines (sold separately).
I bought these under the impression (by looking at the product photo) that the die-cut images would have hollowed cuts inside an image to make them look like actual flowers, leaves, lemons, etc. But instead they really are just a bunch of silhouettes/shapes/blobs with some lightly embossed portions in the middle of the shapes. Without putting additional efforts into these blobs, I wouldn't be able to use most of them! (Take the flowers for example, all you get is just a silhouette, the embossed image in the middle/center of the flowers are not even that clear so without drawing in the middle you probably won't even know those are supposed to be flowers.) I'm pretty disappointed in this product and wish that they made the descriptions more clear. I do think the woman's image turned out great and I used it and made an ideal card, but other than that, the rest of the blobs are pretty useless to me unfortunately. I feel like only 1/5 of the cost paid off, hence the one star review. :( :( :(
These dies are adorable and add a nice finishing touch to your projects....especially when cut in mirrored card stock!
I cut these from foil cardstock and the results are like the embossed foil stickers you can buy. I wasn’t sure about the deer but he looks good!
