I ordered these scissor because I have another similiar type pair. The 2 slides that control the open close function of the scissors fall off no matter what I try to do. That makes them dangerous because they can
open at any time.

These fussy cutting scissors work ok, however the notches where you place your two fingers to unlock it seems a bit difficult. I don't have arthritic hands or fingers either! After owning these for a few months. They're not the best to get into tight spaces to cut. I find myself having to go over previous cuts a few times, that's no fun. I'm not a fan at this point, I'm back to using my large scissors to fussy cut. At least my larger scissors will get the job done with one cut..
