Accessories: We R Memory Keepers CMYK and Layered stamps, We R Memory Keepers Inks

Precision Press Instructions: To begin using your Precision Press stamping tool, place it on a flat work surface and open the clear acrylic lid. Place a piece of paper all the way into the corner of the stamp positioner at the zero mark. If necessary, use washi tape to secure it in place on the stamping surface.

Position your clean, un-inked stamp on the paper in the desired position for the image. Once you are satisfied with the location of the stamp, close the lid of the We R Precision Press firmly down on top of the stamp. Open the lid again. The stamp should now be clinging to the lid of the stamp positioner.

Without disturbing the position of the stamp, use an inkpad to ink your stamp completely. Close the lid and press it down firmly to make the stamp impression.

Reopen the lid and inspect the stamped image. If you are satisfied, you can remove and clean your stamp. If the image is incomplete or not dark enough, re-ink the stamp and repeat the process of opening and closing the lid of the We R Precision Press to add more ink to the image.

Have more layers to stamp? Creating perfect layered stamp designs is easy with the We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Stamping Tool. After completing the first layer of stamping, simply leave the paper in place on the Precision Press. Then you can repeat the stamping process with the second (or third or fourth) stamp that you would like to use!

  • Honest review about WRMK Precision Tool <3

I made an extensive blog post and video about it, please refer to the links below for more information. Overall I LOVED my WRMK Precision Tool. I paid for my tool and all of the opinions expressed here and links are mine and honest.

    Here are the details:

    Blog post: http://giraffecreations.blogspot.com/2016/10/review-wrmk-precision-press-tool-video.html

    YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQv611N9wRY

    My observations:
I love it & will use it all the time!
There is a learning curve with this product, it varies on how wet your ink pad is and how much pressure you apply. So practice and you will be fine.

Rulers: There are rulers everywhere. On the acrylic and on the surface/platform once you open the machine - marked at every 1/8". Here a picture of the grooves and the rulers, both in English and metric systems. The numbers inside the platform are carved in, and if you have tired eyes it might be hard to see. I might add some ink to make them stand out a bit. Not necessary at the moment.

THE SURFACE: Paper does stay put pretty good - which I could't believe from the HSN video :)

AFTER STAMPING: Sometimes it came back up after stamping, but no big deal (it actually lifted in my video, so you can see it).
As a test (not on my video) I also added a thin magnetic sheet to mine to see if that would work better, it did. Not enough of a problem to warrant it in my opinion.

STAMPING: The groves make no difference to the quality of the stamping, I actually thought it would. I even tried a stamp of a thin line right on the grooves and it stamped perfectly. I also stamped a solid stamp and it worked great. Here is a comparison between the three techniques.

STAMP SIZES: The largest size stamp you can use is 7" x 7", which is the size of the platform. Paper can be as larger as you want.

TYPE of STAMPS: ANY!!! You can use thin photopolymer & the thick rubber stamps with foam or cling (like the Stampin up ones). There is no need to add or take away anything on the machine, because the hinges accommodate the thickness of the stamp!!!

Lots more information and pictures on my blog post : http://giraffecreations.blogspot.com/2016/10/review-wrmk-precision-press-tool-video.html

I hope you enjoyed my review

Great Tool at an even Better Price!

This is a great stamping tool at a reasonable price. I have the mini misty and the Precision Press does the same thing at a better price. The only difference I can see is that you might not be able to use foam cushion stamps with this press as opposed to the Misty. You need to use clear or un-mounted rubber stamps which is o.k. with me as I use UM rubber with Aleene's Tack It Over and Over. Works like a charm and by simply turning your sheet of paper you can stamp on an entire sheet of 12x12 paper!

Now I wish I never would have bought the Misty.

    Best stamping tool ever

I love this tool. I shake more than I'd like when trying to do scrapping/stamping. This takes the messy out of the picture..
I've tried it several times already and with lots of success..
The images are clean and can be inked more when some areas are lighter than others. I really like this product.

    Great Product!

I looked originally at the Misti product and found the price point a little high. We R Memory Keepers' product is very similar and at a much lower price point. I've used it extensively and just love it! Any stamper/crafter will benefit from using this product. It is made well and cleans up easily if you do get ink on the base.

    WRMK Precision Stamping Tool OK

This is just my personal and honest review, comparing my MISTI to the WRMK stamp positioner. I purchased this out of curiosity, and knowing my young granddaughter always reached for one of my MISTI's when she's over. The price was right for her to have her own tool, she's not known for taking care of equipment, lol. It stamps OK, and not bad if you're always going to place your paper in the corner. If paper is placed anywhere else I found it a pain to work with. Magnets can't be used, and tape doesn't stick well to the non skid, that does skid, surface. My MISTI, although pricier works without alterations, and a ton of custom techniques are a breeze! I also found the floating hinges on the WRMK didn't consistently produce crisp results when double stamping. My granddaughter loves it.

    Mixed feelings about this one...

I was excited about this product because I have the MISTI, but wanted something that could handle longer panels and at a lowet price point. My first test was using a long wooden boards stamp that I wanted to make into a background, as I have done on my MISTI. First problem: the paper moved a lot. I think this product is best for stamping only when using the corner to hold the paper. I had read some reviews that said the surface has a texture that holds the paper a bit, but I didn't experience that. Maybe they only stamped with the paper wedged in the corner? Second problem: I couldn't get an even image & multiple stamping didn't help. So I tried putting a piece of foam under the paper. Still no good image...
When I put paper in the corner and did smaller stamps, the Precision Press did work fine.
I had been considering this for a Christmas gift for a few special friends, but changed my mind after testing it. Maybe with more work with it, I'll change my opinion, but for now, it's just okay.

    Comparable to Others

I own the other popular stamping tool which is more costly in price than We R Memory Keepers tool. WRMK brand is not magnetic but I've notice the magnets on the other brand do not hold my cardstock most of the time so it's not a huge deal in my opinion. I like the fact that I can put larger paper in the WRMK tool. If you don't own a stamping tool and are on a budget, I'd recommend WRMK stamping tool.

Precision press stamping tool -We R Memory Keepers

Sturdy well made only thing I see is that I feel could be better is it requires a removable tape to hold the paper down so it doesn't come up from the base like the Misti paper is held down by strong magnet. When I do multiple layer stamping the paper needs to be repositioned because the paper comes up and it can get frustrating.

Great Tool at aVery Good Price

I got my Precision Stamping Tool before Christmas, I worked with it on my last group of Christmas cards. I have to say that I liked it first because it looked well made at a very good price. I have to say that It saved me a lot of time and made my stamping a lot easier, I am so happy I got it! I have seen reviews out there about this tool that are not as accurate and impartial as they should be. All products have pros and cons, this one is no exception. It can accommodate all kind of stamps, cling and clear, the hinges will give you the allowance that you need. unfortunate many of the reviewers did not take the time to inform themselves about it and said that it would only accommodate clear. The lack of magnets made me nervous but I made sure to push my paper to the corner and my stamping was flawless. I have to admit that to stamp outside the border of my paper make me nervous and I will probably will use washi or micropore tape when that is the case, or maybe non permanent adhesive on the tool or the on the back of my paper. In conclusion: I am very happy with this tool, it works and it is suppose to and didn't cost an arm and a leg.

    Great stamping tool

This is a great tool to help align your stamps, especially for repeated stamping. It seems to be quite durable and is a nice compact size, perfect for card making. I've never owned a MISTI, but suspect that this is very comparable to it, at a more wallet friendly price point. It doesn't use magnets to hold the paper down, but I find it's not usually a problem. If I find my paper starts to move, I just use a piece of painter's tape to hold the paper in place. The grid on the outside cover is very helpful too in lining up stamps, especially for words. I'd highly recommend this product.

  • My stamps kept falling off right before I'd get to my card stock. I wiped my stamp off and the stamping tool off but still had a hard time with it. • Saw on YouTube that you can clean the BACK of a clear stamp with an alcohol swipe and it will be sticky again.
I use the cheapest ones I could find on Amazon. (Worked well to clean the top of my Distress Paint bottles before I dabbed that paint on them.) By: kahobel (22-Feb-17) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

Hi, Can you please let me know how heavy this is compared to the original size Misti. Thanks   By: User (23-Oct-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • This product measures approx. 7.5" x 8" and weighs about 1 lb - it is much smaller than I anticipated. I don't have the original Misti so can't provide specifics on the differences in size/weight. Hope this helps. By: wrightgal (25-Oct-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • I love this product. Like all WRMK products it is exceptionally well made. Its stamps clear as well as foam mounted rubber stamps, and the big bonus, you can stamp on paper 12 x 12 because this tool only has 2 borders to hold the paper. That means you can stamp with precision over an entire scrapbook page! By: sharon morrison (09-Dec-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. • It appears that the base of the Precision Press has grooves in it. When stamping a solid image, are there spots where the image is missing the ink due to the grooves?   By: spokanemom (07-Dec-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • No it does not leave uninked spots where the grooves are....the grooves are wonderful for keeping cardstock In place. Also, if you do ink something and the whole image does not cover the first time, you can reink and stamp again right over the top and you'll have a perfect image.
