This heavy-weight, high-quality, textured black AC Cardstock is an essential basic for any papercrafter. The 60 sheets of 12" x 12" solid-core black cardstock come in a unique package that becomes a convenient storage container.
This cardstock is just great for standard "work horse" applications, but isn't the truest black available. The storage box it comes is fantastic! (I wish all CS came in this packaging).
I also (totally my fault) misread the product description...This cardstock IS TEXTURED, and I wanted flat.
If you want a rich deep black...this isn't the CS for you.

Nice thicker quality of cardstock. Excellent paper to use with the cricut and for other scrapbooking projects.
This cardstock is not a true 12 x12 inch sheet. So dissapointed. I needed 4 6x6 pieces and had to cut 2 sheets. Also all the edges are slightly curled to one side.
This cardstock is top notch quality, very solid black, and works great for a photo album/scrapbook. I would definitely order it again!
I use a LOT of black cardstock to make mats for cards and this pack of 60 sheets will go a LONG way! It's good and sturdy making the card sturdy without having to use 110 pound white cardstock as your base. (I've used the 80 pound white for my base and it works great together.) This also cuts well with sentiment dies or shaped decorative corner dies.
Really enjoyed using this paper and love the value for money. It cuts cleanly, has a more patterned side and a plainer side so you can choose which you want to use and is a perfect thickness as base pages for any album. Will definitely be purchasing when I run out!
if you love bazzill texture, you will love this... you can't tell the difference. plus it comes in a nice box

Is this paper textured on both sides?

This cardstock is textured on one side and smoother on the other. Hope this helps!

Is this cardstock heavy enough to attach pictures to both sides and then slide in the picture album sleeve?

this card stock is heavy enough I do believe to handle on both sides. I have affixed up to 4 pictures (4x6) on same side with other elements and it has held up good. As a matter of fact this is the only brand I buy.

How well does it handle gesso? What is a good weight for gessi?

Although this is a heavyweight paper I do not think it will handle gesso without The paper becoming wavy. The only time I have used Gesso is for true painting on canvas.
