    perfect!

    I reviewed this product for years due to the price but when my arthritis made it hard to craft I took the plunge. Now I am kicking myself for not getting it years ago!

    Beats every other machine!

    Seasoned crafter here, Sizzix big shot,Sizzix original die cut for steel rule dies, Sizzix Switch, Gemini, Cricut X 3, Silhouette x 2, Empress beats them all.

    Love the Empress Elite! The swivel base is a game changer. The larger plates hold a lot! I did order the smaller cutting plates but you have to order the magnetic mat from Anna Griffin for those to work, which I did. So far, no warping of plates. The sandwich is cutting into the magnetic mat so I see that as being the consumable.

    Definitely recommend for both newbie or seasoned crafter! Would've bought it 30 years ago if it was available - would have saved $$$

    Not what I expected

    It’s a nice machine but just too big for my space. I also thought it came with the smaller plates. Not a fan of the big plates.
    Don’t like that you can’t return it.

      Hi! The Empress Elite is an enhanced version of the original Empress with these improvements:

      1. 360-degree rotating turntable - I have a tight crafting space and this allows me to access the plates from any angle. The machine sits on top of the turntable...no assembly required.
      2. Built-in Handles and USB Port - the handles are located on each side of the machine and is easier to lift and place rather than the awkward carry handle. There is also a USB-port located on the back of the machine to plug in other devices. I have found this to be a nice feature as I can plug in my crafting lamp without having to find another outlet or use my computer USB.
      3. The operating buttons are elevated rather than the flat buttons on the original.
      4. The Empress Elite is also taller than the Empress. Even if you do not use the turntable, it has 4 legs that keep the machine up rather than sitting flat on a surface like the original Empress.
