I love altenew products but after spending $15 on this stamp set, it is a HUGE disappointment! Not one of the sentiments stamps properly, it is a rectangle blob and no words.. I guess they would work for ink swatches.. I even use my misti stamping tool with VERY light pressure and several inkings to get a better result but no letters come out to even make the sentiment.
I'm very disappointed. I have tried using multiple inks, multiple platforms, acrylic blocks, etc. but it makes no difference. These stamps are not etched deeply enough so all that shows up is a black splotch of nothingness.
These are terrible stamps. It isn’t possible to get a clear impression of the words. I wish I had read the reviews prior to this purchase.

I am having trouble getting this stamp set to work properly. It appears like the wording in the stamps is not cut deep enough and just blurs into the background. I�ve tried different inks, cleaning between, stamp platform, etc but get the same bad results. Suggestions ????

I would contact Scrapbook.com first then if they don't help email Altenew. Altenew is very good about their products. Send them pictures of the way it stamps. Good luck👍

I have this set and I'm having trouble getting the void to show the letters. I can't use more ink coz then it will fill in the letters (void) and they won't show up on the paper. Does someone have a idea for me please?

There may be a better way to do this, but what I’ve had to do is use a second generation stamp so the words show through and then darken the background with markers or pencils. These stamps are a bit frustrating but look great when you get it to work. . Hope this helps.
