Each marker has a fine tip and a brush tip, which makes them handy for a variety of projects. Colors include blues, greens and pinks.
I purchased Sets A, B and C at once. I used them as soon as they arrived and I really like them! I didn't want to spend quite so much money on Copics but I really wanted to give alcohol markers a try. After lots of research, I learned that starting off with these would be a great option. The colors work beautifully together and I love the Brush/Fine tips.
I am loving these new markers! Even for a novice like me, these are easy to get used to and the results are beautiful! The grip is secure, unlike other markers that I have used. Five stars for ALTENEW!
The quality of the markers in and of themselves is perfect and a good value. My issue was that I was adding to my small collection (I already had the Primary set.) SIX of the twelve colors were repeated in Set A. I would never have gotten this set if I had realized.
I absolutely loved these pens, the colours are great, the quality of the colour on the paper is good BUT.
Yes the but is the ink goes right through the card stock to the other side. So if I do a card, I have to cut it off and stick on another card.
This is REALLY disappointing to have pens that you cannot use on a card alone.
It says you can use on card stock but even my 250 gsm it goes through. Pointless.
So for that I am only giving 2 stars.
These are lovely pens but not adaptable for all uses for making cards.
