My metal die collection was a hot mess. I can't describe to you how disorganized it was without being embarrassed for myself! So I asked a bunch of my lovely crafty friends what they did with theirs, and many said they left theirs in the packages and just added magnetic strips to the paper backing so they could remove and replace their dies with ease. That sounded awesome, but I didn't have all of my packaging anymore. So I thought maybe if I had some plastic envelopes I could kind of recreate the packaging! So what I did was purchase a bunch of these, and some Deflecto magnetic sheets. I cut the magnetic sheets down to fit one of these storage pouches, used the Echo Park "Rather be Crafting" paper on the back of the magnetic sheets... trimmed them with some adorable black and white polka dot washi tape, and voila! A super cute, girly, organized spot for all my precious. I mean my metal die collection. :) Now I have a nice plastic envelope with a metal sheet for each die set, and it's backed with the most lovely crafty-themed paper. I forgot to mention that these pouches (kind of a cross between an envelope and a zip locking bag honestly) are a great weight - significantly heavier than stamps or dies come in - and definitely high quality. The little slide at the top lets them stay sealed if you like, too. Overall, VERY happy with this purchase!
