This beautiful spray of Decorative Florals will give you so many coloring and embossing options. This 6" x 6" 3D embossing folder is from Altenew. It features 2 large flowers, lots of leaves, swirls, and smaller flowers scattered throughout. This folder can be used normally for a 2 layer effect or run through more times for a 3D effect according to the manufacturer's instructions. The impression provided is clear and really beautiful. Spritzing with a little water before embossing on cardstock reduces or eliminates edge tears. The only reason I rated this as 4 stars is because of the size. It is not standard card size and must be strategically placed to trim for card size. Perhaps offer 2 sizes?
This is the first 3D embossing folder I've purchased. It is definitely a different experience. But once I figured out how to run it thru my big shot I'm having so much fun with it. It's just beautiful. It arrived very fast & was packaged very well. I will be ordering more 3D embossing folders. It seems to make the flowers come alive. It embossed very clear & perfect.
Actually I haven't used it yet as an embossing folder but created a couple of stamps using Simon Hurley's stamping foam (my first attempt at that too). I did both the embossed and debossed side and made several quick backgrounds for cards. Both worked well and I'm happy with the outcome. Now I'll have a go using it as intended!

This is the most beautiful embossing folder.
I have used it on normal cardstock as well as foil cardstock and it is hard to go wrong with it.

I like this embossing folder and it is beautiful when finished. Even though I don't have a machine, I spray water lightly on the card stock, place in folder and roll with a marble rolling pin. Works every time.
