This is a true black cardstock with a very hardly noticeable weave texture on one side. It is a nice weight for sturdiness, for tags, or albums or cards. It has a slight sheen but not glossy. This is a great paper. I haven't had a chance to die cut with it yet but I don't forsee any problems with that.
I love this Paper. For black it's not over powering and far from being a dull black. It looks wonderful on my altered albums. For a great weight and color I would recommend this cardstock.
I was really excited to get this because I've been working on a 2012 Disney Scrapbook for over a year and was getting bored with the products I was using. It's great.
This is a really nice product with good weight and quality. Tried with with white ink and it worked perfectly.

Unlike some cheap 'black' papers, this one is as black as black can be. And great price!
