I love making tri-fold and shaped cards. The problem is, the finished cards don't stay closed. This product, however, solves that problem by creating a magnetic closure. It's easy to incorporate into my designs, and makes people ask, "Wow, how did you do that?".
I adore using these little magnets in my scrapbooking. They are tiny, practically paper thin, and hide very well under a slip of paper. Each one is labelled with a + or -, to help you with making a match. Lift off that little white label to reveal a so-so adhesive. If you are unsure of its strength in your project, pop a little dot of Tombo multi or some other strong adhesive. Be sure to experiment with the strength of the connection under the various layers you might be scrapping. I have used as many as three layers between the mates, and have never had an issue yet!
What have I done"
--- closures for little flaps to hide journalling or extra pictures
--- popped them on a flower to make a "memory" game for a toddler. The flowers hide the picture! Toddler just lifts it off!
--- made a little ribbon "belt" for a card

I use this product often making boxes for cards. The item was

they seem to have most everything I need for scrapbooking
and card making.
I used these for a greeting card idea. I placed one under 3 layers of heavy paper and the under under 1 and the closure was still strong. And the adhesive is definitely strong enough to stay put even when you pull them apart.
These snaps work much better than velcro on many of my paper craft projects - much tidier and adds another level of professionalism. Although small they can be a little heavy for a delicate or very small paper project so you need to bear that in mind.
I was excited to use these tiny/thin magnetic discs as a closure for my Halloween invites...but was disappointed when the adhesive wasn't strong enough to hold against the magnetic strength. Half of the invites didn't sty adhered and didn't keep the invites closed. Bummer , because it was a great idea. May be better if you use your own adhesive/glue?!?
This product is one of the best things invented for those of us who make cards. I absolutely love them. They are easy to apply and work like a charm. What a great invention!!
Love these small magnet sets for fold-over flaps on handmade cards and for pocket flaps on my scrapbook pages! Just wish they came in bigger sets!!!
These magnets are super strong and are great for little gift boxes or envelope scrapbook closure...although I do wish the adhesive was a lot stronger. I have to used my crystal effects to get the desired hold on CS.
Great product. Makes opening and closing 3D projects a "snap." This definitely replaces "velcro."
