  Well worth replacing my old shim!

  I'm so glad I decided to invest in a new shim. My old one was warped & "stretched" in the middle area, so I was having a lot of trouble getting complete cuts from my dies. A new shim has made a huge difference, & I also feel that the new style is superior to the old one.

  Great product

  Love this magnetic shim. It sure makes my die cutting much easier. Its durability is awesome and I do believe it is self healing. I have accidentally cut into it with my dies and it is still intact. I highly recommend this product if you have the big Gemini not the Jr. Maybe soon they will have one for the Jr Gemini.

  This is excellent. It holds your dies in place when cutting

  I love my Gemini. I love this magnetic shim. It holds the dies perfectly.
  
  I have recently discovered that when they are too warped to use, you can cut it down to the Gemini Jr size. The warping settles a bit and it can then be used with the Gemini Jr sandwich in the Gemini cutting machine.
  
  I lay the Gemini Jr cutting plate across one end and line it up. I then mark the large warped one and cut. I then lay that Jr plastic cutting plate across the other end of what is left of thw warped one, draw a line and cut it. There will be just a little extra. Using both ends allow you to line them up evenly on one end. I just trash the little strip left in the middle.
