The Gemini Junior Accessories Cutting Plates for Double Sided Dies by Crafter's Companion feature a design on each side to help you create layered images with ease on your projects. You'll love the precise and accurate cut that you'll get every time that you use them. Instead of having to roll two individual dies through the machine to create two layers, you will only need to use the one. Included in the package are two plates for double sided dies that each measure 6" x 8.9".
I have added these plates to my sandwich on both sides. So now the sandwich is: green plate (which is thin), regular cutting plates, cardstock, die, shim as needed, regular cutting plate, green plate. So far, the green plates have not warped. I'm happy!
these double sided cutting plates are a life changer for my Gemini Junior. Used with the original cutting plates they help to improve the warping of the original plates
I use these as shown in a Jennifer McGuire video. I do normal die cutting with these. I don’t have or use double sided dies and don’t even know what those are. What I do know is that this works fantastically to help keep plate warpage down. I’ve been using these for months now with the clear cutting plates and my plates are flat like they’re supposed to be. I only wish I’d have discovered this sooner.

These plates definitely work with regular dies in the Gemini Jr. I use 2 regular cutting plates and 2 double-sided die plates; no warping of any of the plates!

These would likely not work for regular dies as they seem to be a different thickness. If you search for nm-314803 on our site, you can sign up to be notified when the regular plates are back in stock! We hope this helps :)

These are not as thick as the plates that come with the Gemini Jr. I bought them anyway and I don't have double-sided dies! I figured they would be stronger than the Gemini Jr. plates, which warped terribly the first time I used them. I also bought some cheap plates (some other brand) and use those also. My sandwich = Cheap plate + Double-sided plate + metal shim + die facing upward + cardstock + double-sided plate + Cheap plate. I've been very happy with that combination - not much warping. PS You can call Crafter's Companion in USA and they sell the plates for the Jr.
