This package includes 20 sheets of Cherry Red A4 Foundations Card from Creative Expressions. This paper measures 8.25" x 11.75". This paper weighs 240 gsm which is a medium weight cardstock. This paper can be used for cards, invitations, scrapbook pages, die cutting, and other paper crafting and mixed media projects.
The weight on this cardstock is perfect for using it as a base for my cards. Not super thick, but also, not super thin. I'd say just right!
The color is not a regular "red" color. It's a gorgeous red, that is a little deeper red and just beautiful!
I usually buy my cherry red cardstock from Gina K. Designs. However, they have really gone up in price, so I decided to try out Scrapbook.com and see if their cherry red is similar to Gina K. Designs. Good news: IT IS!
I have some cherry red from her, that I compared to this cherry red from Scrapbook.com and the color is literally identical! Same color: Gorgeous! The weight for this cherry red on Scrapbook.com is not as thick, but it still works great for a base.
In closing: I highly recommend this! It's a rich, beautiful red and the weight will work for a cardbase!
This is a very beautiful deeper red and I love it. It will go well with the lighter red, for a good foil for Christmas cards, or any other project for card-making. This card stock pigment saturation is very rich and I'm so please with this brand. It's an A4 size sheet size, but I usually use card stock of this size for layers. It's a beautiful color, not quite as deep as shown in the photo of it, but beautiful, in its own right.
I'm real happy with this purchase.
