This Whale Tail Tag eight piece Craft Die set is part of the Shabby Basics Collection designed by Sam Poole for Creative Expressions. These thin metal dies create a tag with reinforcement circles and a tab that looks like a whale's tail to place under the reinforcements. These thin metal dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). This die can be used as a tag by itself or it can be added to cards, scrapbook pages, journals, planners, and other paper crafting, mixed media, and home decor projects.
Finally someone came out with a whale tail tab die! One of the nice things is it comes in two sizes. I love the extra score lines to add to the tags, so they aren't just another tag. The only thing to improve this would be to offer it without the holes in the tabs.
Making tags with tabs will be quick and easy with this craft die set. It can be used for greeting cards but mostly for making junk journals.
Whale tail punches are rare finds and VERY expensive. This die set will be a go-to for my projects.
