This Winter Holly slimline stencil is so pretty with its holly leaves and berries intertwined with swirls. This slimline stencil is designed by Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions. This stencil measures 3.86" x 8.23" and can be used with your favorite inks, paints, chalks, mica mists, paints, glitter pastes, textured pastes, embossing pastes, and other crafting mediums (sold separately). This stencil can be used as is, or you can add a frame to it. It can be used for cards, mixed media projects, scrapbooking, for masked effects and so much more. This stencil is reusable and cleans up easily no matter the medium used.
I think this is a good quality stencil and seemed thicker than a few others I have tried. I used this in my Misti tool with a cut down used Critcut mat and magnets to keep it in place. The stencil stayed where I put it making it easy to work with! :-)
This stencil creates a nice slim line card, although the stenciling elements were a bit to large for my tastes. The only issue I had, as an inexperienced stenciler, it required a lot of masking so I could apply my colors nicely without overlapping into other areas. I will have to do a bit more experimentation to make this work better for me.
