The Skinny Woodgrain Embossing Folder cuts through the cardstock
I have two of these folders, accidentally bought two. I cannot use them. I am using good card stock, two different kinds. Every time I use it, the embosser cuts right through the card stock in the same places, no matter which brand or type of card stock I use.
I use the Big Shot Plus. I have used it as they say to use embossing folders; the platform, adaptor B, cutting board, embossing folder with paper inserted, cutting board. I run it through once. I am not reversing. The prominent grains cut right through, each and every time.
I tried it without the adaptor B so it would have less Pressure, the parts that cut through before, are just a ghost, very faint embossing. That was weird. I thought the parts that cut through would be right and the parts that did not cut through would be faint ghost embossing, almost smooth. Nope, the same areas that cut through before were now faint ghost embossing, almost smooth. Does not make sense.
The other issue? Each and every time, the paper comes out curled. Really cannot be used, even if it didn't tear, or have ghost faint embossing.
