You will have to cut these yourself with scissors or a paper trimmer; however, you don't necessarily have to fussy cut around the image outlines (unless you want to). You can cut the focal images as squares and rectangles. There are border strips which will be cut in straight lines and the sentiments are squares and rectangles with straight lines, so it is just your own decision on how to cut the focal images. I plan to use them as squares and rectangles on my card fronts and not fussy cut around the image itself (for example, cut the jar of flowers as a square and not cut around the outline of the jar and flowers). I hope that makes sense! The 8x8 paper pad called "paper kit" comes with 8x8 patterned paper and 32 focal images called "die cut toppers" - in this case, these toppers are pre-cut and you just push them out with your fingers. Some are squares and some are circles that have been pre-cut for you (at least that is how these toppers have come in their other paper kits, I have not received this one in the mail yet - it is on its way! This pad is just the embellishments, not craft paper. The embellishment pad has border strips, sentiment strips, and focal images (all of which you have to cut apart with scissors or a paper trimmer). This collection does have coordinating craft papers - a 6x6 paper pad, an 8x8 paper pad (just papers in one pad and a second pad called "paper kit" which has papers and focal images called toppers), a 12x12 paper pad (called "card making pad") which does have some pages of embellishments to cut apart and some solid colors, and a separate package of solid colored paper.
