I have purchased several of these bottles for various purposes. The spray comes out in a nice mist. It's a good size to hold. Great for water or adding inks to water. I even put water and a small amount of spray hand lotion into one of the bottles, so I could have a last minute small size hand lotion to carry with me.
I was able to add 40 ml, up to where the thread starts at the narrow part of where the top part screws on. I would not recommend that amount if you needed to shake the bottle, as if in adding anything that needed to be mixed. 40 ml equals approx. 1.35 oz. It is approx. 1 1/4" diameter, and 4" tall from bottom of bottle to top of lid.

Anyone know how many ounces (US) that these bottles hold ?

These appear to be 30 ml bottles which would be just over 1 ounce. Hope this helps!
