The Mini Fly Away 6" x 6" stencil features birds, feathers, architectural details, and the words, "Fly Away." This collage-inspired stencil is designed by Rebekah Meier for The Crafter's Workshop. This reusable stencil can be used with your favorite inks, markers, embossing pastes, glitter pastes, texture pastes, paints, sprays, paper glazes, and other crafting mediums (sold separately). This stencil can be used on a variety of surfaces such as fabric, canvas, walls, mat boards, boards, furniture, or it can be used for an entire 6" x 6" scrapbook page or photo album. It can also be used for smaller projects such as tags. This stencil will clean up easily whichever medium is used. This stencil is made in the USA.
I absolutely love the images on the stencil and had success using distress paints and then distress stains…gorgeous imagery!

I am just begging to use stencils in my mixed media artwork and in the classes for children at the library. I love texture and I found stencil to be what I call "control" areas on the artwork, a good technique for children to learn art without feeling that they must be "artist" to do so.
