Get started on your collaging projects with the Plain Collage Paper by Tim Holtz for the Idea-ology Collection. The package includes one roll of semi-transparent paper by Advantus that measures 6" wide x 7 yards long.
I have been using the collage paper and love it. It is amazing that you can actually stamp on it and then adhere it to your colored background and you can't even tell it is there. I also use it on my little houses where a seam is hard to glue. I tear off a piece of the collage paper and glue it behind the seam. It reinforces it beautifully. Great stuff.

I bought this a long time ago, before I started doing gel press and using deli paper with that. I ran across the collage paper in my stash and decided to try it. The Dixie food wrap I get at Sam’s is slightly better about disappearing when applied. Not by much, but enough that I’ll definitely stick with it, as it’s less expensive. The roll is convenient, though.
I also get much better results with clear matte gesso than I do with satin modge podge. For both types of paper.
