What I love about this book is not just that the scraprooms pictured are so inspiring, and filled with cute ideas about how to organize your stash. What I love is that the authors get you to think about who you are as a scrapbooker and what your process is so you can find a system that works for you. I realized the reason my scrap area was such a mess all the time is because the way I was organizing it worked against the way I scrapped. Once I recognized what tools I used in every layout, what I needed to see visually to remember I had and what I needed to feel inspired, I was able to create a space I want to be in all the time and play. It's the best of all the organizing books.
This book is amazing! Ever chapter had helpful ideas from organizing your tiny items to creating centers. It even has a grid to help you with your room layout. I had my items organized but not in a way that I was able to create without going all around the room to complete my lo's. not only does this book have incredible organizing help, it has great pictures as well. I go through the book over and over and I still take notes!! i love it and I'm sure you will to.
I just got this book last week and I really love it! It gives me cool ideas on what type of organization to use and what the differences are. I love the fact that they think out side the box so you can use kitchen items to organize your scrapbook stuff! Great read! I would definitely recommend this book and I have to a couple of my friends.
I LOVE SIMPLE SCRAPBOOKS MAGAZINE AND THAT IS WHY I GOT THIS BOOK.IT IS GREAT BECAUSE AFTER YOU READ EACH CHAPTER YOU HAVE A WORKBOOK WHERE YOU CAN IDENTIFY YOUR CHALLENGES AND SOLVE THEM.YOU WILL READ IT VERY FAST!!!THE PICTURES ARE BEAUTIFUL AND THERE IS PLENTY OF THEM TO GET IDEAS FROM.
Although I have, what I believe to be, a very organized scrap room, I'm always looking for new and innovative ideas to organize. This book truly fits the bill! I highly recommend it to everyone.
I have really enjoyed reading this book. I don't consider myself new to scrapbooking anymore, but I still am finding some great ideas. If you need a total craft room makeover and don't know where to start, this book will definitely help. Some of the great features are beautiful photos of perfect scraprooms which are broken down to give you a real idea of how they are put together. There are also a lot of ideas on how to use what you already have for organizing your tools and materials.
The book also includes a workbook to help you really get into the planning of your space. Since I have checked this book out of library I haven't used this portion of the book, but it is a great addition taking this from just a picture book to a useful tool.
