Yes, I know there are the stamping platforms, but when you have to stamp a smaller image to fill space on paper of different sizes, you need a handheld stamping block, such as this one.
Catherine Pooler's acrylic blocks are the most comfortable ones I've every used! The rounded edges are smooth east to hold. The grid lines are also useful for lining up my sentiment stamps on them. When I use a comfortable block I tend to stamp better!
My mom always taught me, "you gotta have the right tools for the job". Well, these are the right tools! I have trouble with my hands, holding on to things, and I paper craft A LOT - so I need good tools. These are solid, easy to hold, and stamp superiorly. Smoothe edges, carved out in the middle so easy to hold on to.
Buy them! You need them all, and several of the little ones, so when you're stamping cards, you don't have to keep peeling off the stamps off the same block. Having multiples makes life a lot easier.
