This is a deep, rich chocolate brown color. Honestly, it is my 'go-to' color when looking for a brown. Even though this is a mini, it is mighty! You can easily tap it to your stamp to create even coverage. I've also swiped it across my paper to make a quick custom shade to die cut from. A quick pass w/my heat gun to heat set it (personal preference) and I can use my alcohol markers with no problem. As with all CP inks, the color goes on nicely and takes to re-inking well. I used to use Memento Rich Cocoa as my brown but not anymore--Icing on the Cake is the BEST!

As a first time user of CP inks, and having many other inks, I chose to try just one mini pad prior to investing in a lot. I do like this ink for stamping words. It provided a clear, crisp image stamped with a red rubber stamp. I haven’t yet tried it for other techniques. Stay tuned. . . .
In my opinion, CP Mini Inks are the juiciest inks out there. They are all very bold and vibrant colors - nothing light or pastel-ish with these inks. And when they dry they are sooooo smooth. There is no residue and they dry very quickly.
I love the rich brown color of this ink! Stamps beautifully!
