These rubons are different than any rubons I have used so far. You don't rub them. They go on like a tape runner. If you want them perfectly straight, run them down the edge of a ruler. They go on very evenly and smoothly. They do, however, leave a shiny background the width of the runner. I found out if I press my finger down along the border, it dulls the shiny adhesive and makes it look better. I like these better for accents and small half borders around photos, etc., but I would recommend them for those who want something a little different.

I really like this product but it is a little tricky to get used to. you need to make sure you hold the container very flat when you start so that it lays down evenly, otherwise you get on side of the tape started and not the other and your starting edge won't look clean. It is a very fun product to use. You can use it to make a full border or just a little here and there to enhance your lo. You get quite a bit on each roll and it is nice that you get two designs in one package.

Got these and they work pretty good, you have to go kind of slow but they are worth the money for how much u get and u can use them on tons of stuff!
Again I love rub-ons but rarely use them for fear of messing up a finished layout. My fear was realized with this. It would not come on to the paper so I rubbed harder, then it started then stopped then stopped . . . Cute but not worth the trouble.
I really don't like these rub on tapes because half the time they don't work and it was very frustrating to work with. I would try them on my LO and nothing would come out or it would come out only partial. Also the tape would come off track.
