This Square Punch from Dress My Craft will produce a 1.5" square in diagonal dimension. This punch can cut through heavy cardstock and 90-220 gsm papers easily, it also cuts through thin foam sheets, thin glitter foam sheets, and more. The bottom of the punch has a sliding cover at the cutting edge to catch extra cuttings and the punch has a lever that makes it easy to use. This package contains one punch.
As a punch it works very well. I wanted it for mosaic scrapbooking, and accuracy counts for that. The punched piece is 1/16th of an inch too big in both directions. Either state the actual size, or find a way to make an accurate one inch square punch Dress My Craft!
For any other crafting, I doubt it would be enough of a size difference to matter. The description does not advertise it as a one inch square, but as a 1 1/2 “ (diagonal) punch, but the detail photo shows it as one inch to a side. Makes me think they are aware of this issue…..
I purchased this thinking it was a 1.5 inch square. My fault for not reading the description properly. It does cut very well but just in case anyone else doesn't realise it's 1.06 inches each side.
