This un-mounted deeply etched red rubber stamp from Deep Red Stamps are pre-cut and mounted on repositionable cling foam. They can be used with any acrylic block (sold separately). Each package includes one rubber stamp that measures approximately 3.25" x 3.5". Made in the USA.
I have used this stamp over and over for all of this years Christmas cards. It is a deep etched red rubber stamp but I gave it a 4 star because you do need to trim off the excess rubber yourself. I found that out after my first use.
I'm disappointed in it. It was very difficult at best to get the picture onto my card. No matter how much black ink was put on the stamp, it left very lite places.
I make my own Christmas cards and this one is so very unique from the usual manger or tree scene with snow, I love the detail and look forward to coming up with a theme, never are we reminder of the "going home" after the birth of Christ.
I wanted this stamp for making Christmas cards. I gave it 4 stars because there is so much darkness in the design. Around Mary and Joseph's robes it is difficult to add much color or brightness to it. You have to be very careful not to smear or add too much ink to the stamp, either. I would use scrap paper and practice alot until you get the desired look you want. That is what I did.
Whether on my journal or on a card, i love when im able to express my faith with the aid of accessories. Especially because i cannot draw well, haha.
This stamp transferred beautifully.
This image of Joseph, Mary and Jesus is very well-done. They look like real people, rather than more cartoonish. Deep Red rubber stamps are like that.
Unlike many "nativity"/Baby Jesus stamps, this one depicts the apparent move out of Bethlehem. AWESOME!
