I purchased these because they remind me of family members who are serving in the military and my Dad, who has worn work boots all of his life. I love how they show the wear. I love how they are not neat and clean, but well worn and able to add the dirt you want. Be sure to press firmly in the middle or you will get areas undefined. Otherwise, this stamp is great!
I'm using this stamp to make welcome home cards for Veterans that are going on the Lake County Honor Flight, from Illinois. They present each of the 23 Veterans on this flight with a mail bag, filled with letters and cards from school children, members of organizations, etc. I'm hand making my cards with all military stamps. I love these stamps.
My son was in the service and still wears boots. This will make a great Fathers Day card. Deep Red stamps are the greatest! They stamp so well: nice and clean.

This makes a great Memorial Day card or a card to send to a veteran. I wish that I had seen this stamp several years ago when I was making all the cards for soldiers.
