This four piece thin metal die set, Birthday Flip Card, is part of the Monster Party Collection designed by Joset Van De Burgt for Elizabeth Craft Designs. This die set features a die that creates a flip card that measures 5.6" x 5.8". This die set also includes a cluster of three stars, a frame with Happy Birthday, and more. These dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). These dies can be used on cards, scrapbook pages, tags, journals, planners, and other paper crafting and mixed media projects.
This die is soooo useable in soooo many ways!! Am really have FU with it!
I love this card die because it creates a wonderful flap movement. This style is very versatile. It can be used either in the horizontal presentation shown on the packaging or portrait style. I have used it more often in t he portrait orientation using a Christmas tree or birthday cake, etc in the center.
I was excited to find a flip die but my excitement tuned to frustration and disappointment when I used it. The card design is cute but all the Happy Birthday letters cut separately so that you have a pile of individual letters that have to be glued on one at a time. Too much work!! The only way I can put them on more simply is to cut 2 happy birthday pieces of contrasting colors, shake off all the letters, use one piece like a stencil & individually glue the contrasting letters in the “stencil” spaces.
I would not recommend this due to anyone who wants a more efficient way of making a birthday card.
