I am having difficulty with getting this stamp to print well. It seems to require multiple stampings, particularly with lighter ink, and a great deal of pressure. I love the look of it, but am not enjoying the production difficulties. I don't seem to have the same difficulties with other background stamps. Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas?

Its a beautiful stamp but I found the center does not stamp we also. So I just use it layered with others and use dark inks. I just got one of them stamp shammys and cleaned it and it seemed to do better. Does your stamp feel real sticky with a strong smell

Thank you for your answer. That is the exact problem I am having--the center doesn't print well at all. I agree, it is a beautiful stamp, but hard to use if you want a solid background print of the stamp. I just got a stamp shammy, and it does help to clean it. It is definitely sticky, but I don't know that I noticed a strong odor. I hate not to be able to use it very often, but it's clearly going to have to be used rarely. Dark inks with this stamp are a definite must.
