This is perfect for me. I could never get a perfect circle cut, but now I can. Martha's circle cutter is easy to use, and it cuts from 1" to 5-1/2" diameter circles, in 1/6 inch increments. For someone like me that has to get the most value for my buck....THAT'S 73 different size circles! It is smooth and produces a great cut and doesn't skip like other products I've tried. I keep it in the original package and it hangs up nicely, so it's within easy reach because I use it a lot.

I've always admired seeing layouts with circles. Now I can to. Love the idea of being able to make circles with the ease of this tool. I now can quickly make circles in various sizes and I am very happy with this!

This is a great addition to my scrapbooking tools. There is a large variety of sizes of circles you can make with it. The blade is very sharp but has good protection from the blade.
It doesn't take up alot of space for storage, all in all it is very good for scrapbooking or any kind of crafts.
Love it! Was terrified to open it from the packaging tho after reading a review about someone having an accident......n I'm quite accident prone, but had it for 2 weeks with no accidents.

This product needs to be re-designed. It is dangerous to use.
Last week I bought this circle cutter; couldn't wait to use it, I was so excited. I am a careful person, and I ALWAYS read the directions. I even saw the video on how to use this product on Martha's website. I was CERTAIN that I would have no probelms with using it.
The blade was difficult to insert into the tool handle. I struggled to remove the blade cover. Yes, I know that it is supposed to SLIDE off sideways. . . it didn't work for me. I tugged and tugged on the cover until finally it came off and cut my finger wide open.
After a trip to the emergency room for stitches, I decided there was something wrong with it, so I brought it to work to show the guys. One of them had no problem with removing the blade cover, but another person had the same problem as I did (but did not cut themselves :)). We are both left-handed, so I wonder if that could be the issue? I don't know for sure, but I DO know that it should not be difficult to remove the cover. In my opinion, it should be re-designed or someone else may have the same situation.
If I thought I could return it, I would. I am very disappointed in the product, and I am not a person to be negative for no reason. If you are contemplating buying this product, be warned.
I read through the reviews and was leary about buying this, but I figured that if I got this at my local PX and it didn't work the way I expected, I could easily return it. No need to worry, the item was extremely easy to use and I have made lots of perfect circles. I use this item on a self healing mat and not had any problems. I love the ease of the tool, you 'pop' it in a groove make the circle, many sizes to choose from. I love how you can store the replacement blades inside of the tool handle. I am really glad that I purchased this!
Bought this for my wife. She's used it a few times already, and likes it. She did mention that it takes some practice to operate correctly - but what tool doesn't?
It seems to be fairly sturdy, and it cuts circles.
I was so happy when I bought this! Love how you can make solid circles, or do one size, then cut a couple sizes bigger/smaller and make a ring!!!
works just like it's suppose to!...I needed something to make circles of different sizes, and this is just the ticket.

I just purchased this product, and I find that the cutting blade does not fit firmly in the handle. I followed instructions for insertion, but the blade either stays in the circle cutter when lifted or falls out after removal from the paper. Is this normal, or have I done something incorrectly? I think I"m going to like this cutter, but the blade is an issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found that when I first started using this product, that I was using too heavy a hand. Once I lightened up on my grip and used a glass cutting surface, it worked like a charm. Mine didn't come with the safety protector, but at first I had a similar problem with the blade popping out. Cut in the direction opposite of the slot the blade slides in. I love it now that I have the right touch. It takes a little practice, but once you get the feel for it, you will love it too.
