these work way better than the cheap knock off
These are fun because you get six different patterns in one pack, but if you want to create patterns on larger pieces of paper like 12x12 I would probably recommend to get a ruler instead. I don't know what they're called in English, but I have some metal rulers with patterns on the side that you can align on your 12"-paper and then just rip it against the ruler to create the pattern.
So, for smaller items like cards or so, these are fun! But on bigger items, like 12"-layouts I would recommend one of those ruler-thingys instead since they are easier to use on bigger things and also works faster since you won't have to align more than one time before you rip.
They cut paper okay, but I was wanting a better quality to cut borders on a variety of material. They are plastic and better suited for kids.
If you've heard that paper edgers are "old school" or “outdated” don’t believe it. They have been around for quite a few years and the reason is because they really do help you scrap faster and creatively. My favorites in this set are the scallop, deckle and pinking - they make great mats and borders and are timeless. The deckle edge resembles the irregular edges of some vintage photographs and looks great on vintage photo MATS. Word to the wise: don't compromise the integrity of your photos by cropping them with these and other decorative paper edgers. Save the cute cuts for mats, strips and borders. You're layouts will look more professional and classy when you do.

I have some fiskars deco edge scissors and some from another company and I do prefer my fiskars to the others. They are a tad more expensive but worht it in my opinion. You get a cleaner cut with these, the handles are more comfortable which makes for better cutting, and the guides for cutting a straight line are easier to follow. If you're still into deco edged scissors I reccomend fiskars over ***** *****. :P

These are great extra tools to have around. You can use them with scrapbooking and cardmaking. They help add design to any layout...or....card. I have 2 different sets of these fiskar scissors and use them all the time. Even my kids like to use them when they are "working" with me when I am scrapping.
First I thought they would be a little expensive, especially because I like clearance products and products on sale the most, but they're definitely worth it! I've already used them so many times, for several projects and they give my papers, pictures etc a nice touch.
I really like these decorative scissors. I had some made by another company and they did not work well at all. These are very good. I am happy with them
Love these, gives a new meaning for scissors. easy to use, gives paper a nice look too
These scissors help you create beautiful edges on your LO's!
