Fiskars designed an easier, more accurate rotary trimmer that's portable. It has clever design features, making it the easiest to use. This trimmer allows you to cut up to 10 layers of paper, all with ultra-precise cuts, whether straight, scalloped or perforated.
Of all the trimmers I have owned, this one is my all time favorite for the following reasons. The blades are easy to change--pop them in, pop them out, and they even have blades that cut various decorative edges. I love the swing arm and how to measurements are easy to read. I also like that the blade bar can lift up but there is a second plastic bar that goes across the paper so that I can line my paper up perfectly and then lower the blade bar down and cut my paper--I never make mistakes with this trimmer.

I absolutely LOVE IT... I have had so much trouble in the past with finding a trimmer that 1-cuts straight, 2-has a variety of blades, 3) that measures and cuts up to 12" as I am a 12" scrapper. This one fits all of those issues ... it is a sturdy little workhorse and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE IT!
Whew ... in the grand scheme of life ... this is one stress that I can file away ... YES!
I feel you can purchase this with confidence ... Susie
Love this trimmer! The rotary blade did take some getting used to, but it works really well and lasts a long time.
It was a lot of money for me to spend on a trimmer, but after using a coupon and sale prices, it ended up being cheaper than the cheap trimmers.
The only thing I would like to have been added, would be little measurements down the clear holder near the blade so I can see how far I've cut. I just took a sharpie and made my own. Problem solved.
It's larger than my old trimmer (the Cricut one), but not huge. And I like that it has a swing arm so I can measure 12x12 paper.
It's definitely worth the full price.

My husband got this for my birthday and I really like it. The size is larger than what I had before but still portable, which is very important to me. It makes nice clean cuts although I am still getting use to how you line up pictures on this one. Probably because it is new - but the cutter itself is a little difficult to slide - it feels like it wants to slow down on something? I love that you can replace the blades on this one with the decorative edges - like the scallop edge. I definitely recommend it!

You're forced to basically estimate where the cut line will fall. If you need exact measure, it could be a problem. Also I don't find the rotary blade to do any better than my previous Fiskar trimmer which cost a lot less. I just did not think this was worth the money - sorry I bought it.
This has to be the worst designed product i have ever used!!!! i would have given it NO Stars if that was an option...
There is abosultey no gaurd on the cutting blade and when you change the blades it is very easy to slice open your finger, which I did in minutes of opening package!!! Also, when lifting the cutting bar if you accidentally push on the cutting housing or grab it in the wrong place you will also slice open you fingers, which I also did in minutes of receiving this product!!! AND on top of all this there is no WARNING to watch out for these design issues!!!! AND if you are not perfectly careful in aligning your paper your cut is off...SO I am packing it back up and sending it back, ASAP!!!
You may ask yourself...is she accident prone person, NO this is the first time I have ever cut myself on a trimmer...I usually use a floor standing guillotine with NO PROBLEMS!
Don't buy this product!!!

I love this trimmer! I never liked decorative edge scissors because I couldn't make the lines straight. This trimmer has 7 different cutting blades, including scoring, perforating, wave, deckle, pinking and scallop which makes creating cute straight edges a snap. It will also cut through multiple layers of cardstock or paper if you are repeating a design or cutting even making things with straight lines the same size, which eliminates a lot of tedius work. It's a little bigger than the average paper trimmer, but I find the versatility to be well worth the extra bulk. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who spends lots of time doing paper crafting and even someone who's just beginning.
I love my Fiskars trimmer. It's great that there is a lock on there so it doesn't open while in transit. The arm swings out so you can easily measure you cardstock. The blades are easy to change out too. I get great cuts every time.
Tip: If you think you aren't getting a straight cut, try rotating or flipping the yellow strip that the blade cuts into. You can actually use all four sides of the yellow strip, two on the front and two on the back.
Perfect size for travel and for scrappers who just don't have the space to have a large paper trimmer sitting out. Replacement blades are reasonably priced so they won't put a whole in your wallet. And as an added bonus its got eye appeal, cute design.
I've had my Fiskars Cutter for a number of years now, so it may not be exactly the same model as this one. I love it! I haven't had to replace the blade until just recently, so they last a long time. I hope the F blade works for mine. Mine has a light on it, which is helpful to see where you're cutting. I print my own photos, so it really comes in handy for that purpose. My model doesn't have the swing arm. Instead, it folds in half, and when open has a full 12" cutting and measuring area. I just wish it had more identification marked on it somewhere permanently, so that when I need to replace the blades or the cutting strip, I know for sure I'm ordering the right ones. But, other than that, I wouldn't change a ting!
