I've always loved cutting paper. I used to sit for hours cutting things out of magazines or catalogs when I was younger. And when I first started scrapbooking, I continued to enjoy cutting out embellishments for my pages. However, I have arthritis and now my joints get very stiff, often preventing me from being able to use traditional scissors. But when I got these, I found that I could enjoy cutting as much as I did when I was a kid. They're really comfortable on the joints with no little holes to get your fingers stuck in. And they have very fine, sharp tips so you can cut into corner or around curves with the same ease. With these scissors I can cut the most intricate designs without having to take any pain medication!

Before these scissors came out I did all of my intricate paper cutting with embroidery or cuticle scissors. Funny what we'll put up isn't it? I have two pairs of these beauties in my home (one upstairs, one down) and a pair in my office at Scrapbook.com. I just love them! I use another pair of Fiskars longer blade scissors for big cuts that would be difficult to do with shorter blade scissors.

These micro tip scissors do the job for finer detail cutting but the spring loaded handle takes some getting used to... but it is nicer than the death grip you end up with when using regular handled scissors and you're trying to cut fine details. I also like the little locking feature. Safety first... lol

These are great scissors for that detail work that your regular, chunky scissors just can't handle. I've used these Micro-Tip scissors for cutting out more intricate work that I'd NEVER be able to do with regular scissors.
I LOVE that they are super sharp and come to a teeny point on the end...the blades are thinner and narrower...it locks closed...and it has that rubbery soft stuff on the handles so it makes cutting comfortable.

These scissors are great for details and small areas. They have little pointy tips that allow you to get into even the tiniest of spaces. When you are doing a lot of cutting the springloaded feature saves your hands from cramping. The lock is always a nice feature when dealing with sharp objects! I love these scissors and use them even when I don't need to cut something tiny or detailed!

for Christmas and they are one of the greatest gifts I've ever received! They are super sharp and cut everything very precisely. I love the safety feature. There are no finger wholes for my chunky digits to get caught in and the handles are soft so that my hands don't hurt after using them for a long period of time. Love these!

I think that these scissors are great for cutting out intricate designs, like cutting a face or a portion of a photo out. The spring loaded handle ensures that your hands don't get tired from being bent up inside the traditional type of scissor handle.
One caveat - don't try to use them to cut straight lines!! It's almost impossible!

I don't think I've ever seen a pair of scissors that are as sharp as these! It really allows you to get in the tiniest spaces and leaves a nice clean cut. They're easy to hold and comfy, and because there's no holes for your fingers, you never have to worry about your hands getting stuck in them! I would definitely recommend these!

This pair of scissors was one of my first scrapbooking purchases years ago. I cannot do a layout without these. I can cut the most intricate patterns with the micro-tip. The spring loaded handle make it easy to use. They are always in my scrapbook bag. I have purchased many of these as gifts for new scrappers because they always want to borrow mine at crops and classes. This pair has been a very good investment.

These are perfect! I had an accident last year and cut the tendons in my right hand in two places. Since my surgery, I can no longer handle regular scissors. They have to be without the thumb and index finger holes. I bought these out of desperation to be able to use scissors again and I absolutely LOVE them. They are sharp, convenient and well worth the $14.
TRY THEM! You'll never go back to regular scissors again!
