For years I've wanted an adhesive dispenser that was large enough to hold lots of adhesive with a very user-friendly applicator. When I saw this tool for the first time I wondered where it was going to fit on my drawing table and how well it would fit in my hand. I'm happy to report that it's balanced, fits comfortably in my hand and stores well at my table when not in use. I can always find it among the piles of paper and supplies I work with too.
I was astounded at the number of layouts I was able to complete with one roll of tape. The dispenser is easy to reload because of the embossed diagram on the discarded tape side (when you remover the paper backing roll you'll see it). When you put a new roll of tape onto the right-side wheel you'll have no problems following the diagram.
I really like the press, release and lock trigger and once you get the hang of it you can place adhesive quite accurately.
If you don't like the color of the casing, you can paint it with Krylon spray paint made for plastics. I saw where a user in our Gallery had done this and then added rub ons.
Great for right and left-handed use.

I bought the ATG dispenser and the scotch gold tape about 5 years ago... I don't go anywhere without it (except the grocery store and work!) It's so much more economical than other dispensers ... and it's so easy to use. Loading it is a breeze. I loved it so much I bought 5 more to give as Christmas gifts to my friends a while back, and they all love it too. You can buy an adapter for this gun which enables you to use the 1/4" tape also. Tape widths come in 3/4" , 1/2" and 1/4". If you want to do smaller bits, I'd buy the adapter (usually around 8 or so dollars) and use the 1/4 " tape. If I had to choose one item out of my scrapbook room that I could not do without, it would be this gun!

This is the best! I'm very picky when it comes to adhesive, but I just got this and love it! I forgot to order my adhesive separately, so had to place a second order for it. Loading was a bit tricky, but the adhesive is smooth, clear, and very tacky. The gun is lightweight and rolls easily. I wish it were not so bullky, but overall, I love it!
I love my ATG Scotch 700. The roll lasts so long and you don't have to keep changing it. And even though the initial price to purchase seems high, think about how many times you have spent $5 for a roll of adhesive that is gone in nothing flat. There is a bit of a downside though, this is very sticky, so it is not repositionable. So you should only use it on something you know is ready to be adhered to your LO. I seldom use any other adhesives anymore, since I got my ATG Scotch 700.

I put off purchasing a large ATG and used almost every other type of roller adhesive, but I make mini books and it was costing me a fortune. I thought this would be difficult to use and control, but it is not at all, and I like the wide tape, if I end up trimming or sanding a little on the edge, it is still glued firmly together.
I've had this adhesive gun for quite awhile and just love it!! I use the larger adhesive and what I like about this gun is that it doesn't gum up at all!! I don't have to use alot of adhesive because it sticks so well, but make sure that you place your things exactly where you want them or their stuck pretty well. One hint that I can give is that when you stick something down their is no need to put adhesive all over it, use it in the middle and in oppsite corners and then if you make a mistake the other corners that don't have adhesive, you can twist and turn your object and it will come up most times without ripping. Enjoy, for the money it's expensive at first, but once you see how much adhesive you get and how far it goes you will be happy that you got one!!

I use this at work, and I love it! I am planning on getting one for my personal scrapbook use soon. The adhesive is very easy to re-load, and it glides on so well! This will make scrapbooking a breeze!

I love this tape gun!! It is so easy to load and use! I did have to get DH to install the adapter for the 1/4" tape because the instructions were not very "GrandmaG" friendly. I can't wait to see how long it will take me to empty one spool of tape. The initial investment for the gun is a little steep but the price of the tape I think is well worth it in the long run. I used 30 xyron tape refills, and 15 OTC refills in 2007 (yes I add everything in my budget), so I can't wait to see how many refills I use with this. I failed to mention that the tape goes on very smooth and so far I haven't had a problem with skipping, breaking, or glue build up which is a plus for me!

This is such an awesome product!!! I would get wrinkles in my pages because I use to much liquid glue and now I don't have that problem. This is definitely worth the investment!!
