Tsukineko Dew Drop VersaMagic Chalk Ink is a multi-surface, premium chalk inkpad
When I first got this, I thought: 'More ink...big whoop." I soon found out it really IS a big whoop! It's just as opaque as my acrylic paints, only less messy and no globs. If you ink your stamps well with this, it gives the stamped image the appearance of flocking. I love the drop-shape, it makes inking chipboard letters a lot easier. They're nice and "juicy" for their small size, which is also a great space-saver when packing them along to crops. Try these out!
I use these for stamping in my planner on HP Premium 32 paper and these do not ghost or bleed (show through to the back). These specific colors are beautiful pastels and are some of my favorites in the VersaMagic collection. The info given is pretty limited so I'll add that these are a pigment ink meaning they sit on top of the paper which is why they don't bleed. They are a matte finish and dry quickly. I wrote on them with my Pigma pen about 15 seconds after stamping with no issues.
The colors were perfect for my project, and I love the shape of these ink pads. Makes it so easy to ink into little crevices. I wish all my ink pads were this size & shape.
this is the second one i bought and it is just as pretty as the other one is. love this product, need to get the other kits. i am still learning to use these, and found a few different ways, how it looks depends on how you apply it. try it i am sure you will like it.

Absolutely love these chalk inks! Application is a breeze and the soft pastel colors are perfect for spring layouts and soft feminine cards. Colors blend easily and work great on ready-made and punched flowers too!

I never used to think much about what type of ink pad I was using and often ended up with less than perfect results. These chalk inks are perfect for just about any type of stamp that I've tried and the small size makes them easier to use and store.
I am completely in love with Tsukineko's versamagic dew drop chalk inks. They do not bubble up on acrylic stamps, dry quickly (almost instantly) and leave a beautiful chalky image. This pastel pack is absolutely beautiful and the colors show up extremely well despite their light hues.

Very nice, easy to hold, quick to just touch up the edges of your matting before putting down, this set is prob the best and most versatile pastels I have used.

Very easy to use and handle, nice soft effect--I used it for distressing edges.
I love this ink, the colours are beautiful and soft and they last a long time and you can even emboss with them. Just lovely.

What is the difference between "Versamagic" and "Brilliance" ? They are listed with the same description of being chalk inks.

Brilliance inks have a shimmer to them once dry while Versamagic inks are softly opaque pigment ink that dries into a delicate chalky finish. We hope this helps!

These are chalk inks. They are in between dye and pigment inks. They dry a bit slower than dye so you can blend if you want, but dry much faster than pigment. Hope this helps!
