I recently purchased the glue pad and I love it! It works great even on the tiny stamps. I can read the tiny print and the detail shows up too. If you use fine glitter you must let it dry quite awhile or the glitter will brush off and it's a loss. I still love it. I just use a wet wipe to clean my stamps and they aren't all sticky and neither am I.
I bought this because I had a coupon I couldnt let go to waste, and to my surprise it was worth it. I've used it with stamps and flock. The glue comes off the stamps easily and the flock stuck. The glue dries fast too.
Used in this project: Love die cut
Just what I was looking for. Great for many uses. Hard to find in stores. always sold out.
Comes with an empty pad you fill with glue that cubes with it so you can stamp with it. I wanted to try this out because I think it's a great idea and the price to try is right
I am so excited for the glue pad. But not sure how long it will work as well as it does now. I will wait and see.
I own both this glue pad and the Palette Stamp & Stick Gluepad. They seem to be the same product but really are not.
The Palette Stamp & Stick Gluepad is the choice for flocking. This pad needs to be heat set. Stamp with the glue add the flocking and heat set. Flocking is not bothered by the heat. For Gold leafing Stamp heat set then add leafing.
But to use the glass marbles or glitter This pad is wetter and really hold these items. It also does not need to be heat set which would ruin most glitters.
Both pad work better on coated paper. Another tip is to add black ink to the pad if you want a colored base. When flocking I perfer to have a dark base so if an area is not covered it does not really show.
I wasn't sure I was going to like this product. I've only tried it a couple of times. I guess the final review will come after it sits awhile and I find out if the glue pad glues itself shut. My sister-in-law and I tried this with regular rubber stamps. I selected the fireworks stamp and fine glitter. I was really impressed at the detail of the print that was made. I was also surprised at how quickly the stamp came clean. For glitter this worked beautifully. Time will tell as to how long the glitter will hold, but I'm optimistic. I'll use it again (assuming the glue pad doesn't glue itself shut.
