This 14 piece Honey Cuts Steel Craft Die set, Lovely Layers - Peony, is part of the Birthday Bliss Collection from Honey Bee Stamps. This stand-alone die set cuts out a beautiful large layered peony, leaves, and a layered bud. These pre-clipped dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). These dies can be used to make cards, scrapbook pages, tags, journal and planner pages, art journals, and other paper crafting and mixed media projects. The large open peony petals measure 3.33" wide x 2.5" tall, the leaves measure 3" wide x 2" tall, the bud and stem measure 1" wide x 2.33" tall, and the bud sepal measures 1"wide x 0.25" tall.
I love this large flower die. If I were to give it a con, it would be that Honey Bee does not include the layering guide with the die, although it is easy to find on the website. I have purchased another lovely layers die so I hope I like that one as much as this one. If you like realistic, dimensional flowers on your projects, this is the die for you!
These cut well and are just as pictured once they are layered.
This collection of dies is so beautiful. The hardest part is finding seven shades of a color to make it. I got so wrapped up in making a
Peony that I couldn’t stop. I ended up making dozens. They all turned out great.
I love peonies and Honey Bee stamps and dies. It will be like putting together a puzzle, to assemble the die cuts! That will be fun.
I love this! I did have to download the instructions from Honey Bee but once you do it a few times it's easy. I think its a great addition to have for many occasions so worth the money.
