Love the look of the rooster but I have to say it sure is hard to line up all the head pieces.
Been looking at this rooster set for a while trying to decide... when I found it had matching dies... Had to have it. Dies really kick a homemade card up a notch! LOVE IT!!! Added bonus is the ink set.
The layering rooster is wonderful. I practiced a few times and it makes the loveliest bird. The Hero inks are so rich and cover beautifully.
The layering of this stamp is really good. It is easy to use and gives excellent results.
I've been stamping for years, but don't have much experience with layering stamps. I didn't position the feet accurately, so I couldn't use my die and ended up using scissors. That was one of my disappointments. The second disappointment was how the ink that came with the bundle stained the stamps. I normally use Stampin' Up ink, which I did on one and it came clean. But when I used the ink pads and tried to clean up quickly, the stained color would not come off. In reality, it doesn't really matter if the stamps are stained I guess, but its a brand new stamp set...
