This tool is so handy and just the right size! I have the Making Memories paper piercer, but it is so long bulky. This piercer is tiny so it is easier to use. My favorite thing to use it for is brads. I love doing layouts with lots of tiny brads and I hate getting out the hole punch if I don't have to. This is so much faster and easier to use for a quick little hole to slip your brad into. I also like to use it for holes to do hand stitching on my layouts! I was so happy to see that scrapbook.com carried this, because I had been trying to find it locally for awhile and couldn't find it in a store. I have one, but am thinking about buying a couple more, one to keep in my tote bag, and another one for my tool drawer--can't beat the price!
I'm always looking for safer tools for crafting for my children/grandchildren. I got this as soon as I seen the mini size as my first thought was this will be more "kid-friendly"- great for when my grandchildren or nieces/nephews or my friends children are doing crafting with me. Due to it's smaller size it's less cumbersome and more easy to handle/manage. It's safer in the hands of my grandchildren- therefore, I feel safer and more at ease.
*(Important footnote): As always, we alone know when and what to trust our kids with. I am always there to supervise them.
This tool is so great because it's so small, yet very sturdy. You can easily put it somewhere safe and not have to worry about little hands finding it or falling on it. It does come with a little plastic shield, which I still keep over the tip of the needle for extra protection. I like it because you can control the pressure on this smaller size & lessen the risk of poking yourself. It's a great thing to have, even if you already have a larger piercer.
This is a great little tool! When I went for this, I honestly chose it because it was the cheapest on the shelf... little did I realize how much better it is than the other, larger versions out there. It is quite sharp and creates very precise holes. It's easy to store due to the small size, creates perfectly sized holes, and the cover keeps it from piercing anything while not in use. Serious bang for your buck (and size) in this product.
Love this little tool!
I actually have a total of 3 paper piercers...(However, of the 3, this one is my most favored).
It's smaller, but sturdier. Tiny, but gets the job done. It has a great point to it, with a wide, width grip!
I consider it part of my 'essential tools' and keep it either on my scrapdesk or in my desktop tote whenever I travel to crops!
Bonus = For less than $2, what's not to love!

...with a big impact! Small, convenient, sharp, with a lot of punch. Great when you need to make a hole anywhere on your page. Also great to assist in stitching on a page. I've even used mine when in a pinch-say when I need to pop up a corner, separate an unsuccessful perforation, popout a punch or get into a narrow space! Anyway you choose to use this petite tool, it sure ends up a big help!
I LOVE this paper piercer. I wasn't really sure what I would use it for but it was on sale and I was placing an order anyway so I bought. And I use it for everything and anything! It's great when working with small embellishments because you can use it to slide them into place or hold them down while working. It's also good for hard to reach places that your hole punches just won't reach!
What a wonderful, inexpensive tool. I too use this all the time when putting brads on paper. It's perfect for making a little hole. So much better than any hole puncher. At crops every one loves to borrow this tool. Worth the price plus some:)
This little tool is wonderful!! It really makes adding stitching and brads to your los easier! No more bending your paper trying to get that brad in! And its perfect to use to punch that stitching template! I'd recommend this little guy to anyone!

Lovin' it! It is just so quick and easy to put holes thru flowers for brads - and anything else you might want to use brads on. So much simpler than trying to use a "hole punch". You can line it up easily, too. It just fits me and my uses.
