I have had mine for several years and it still works great. I admit, I still have to look at the directions to install a new tape but no problems installing it. Very good adhesive that lasts a long time.
What I love about this adhesive is that it works on small embellishments and is super sticky. I also like that you can just rub off any extra adhesive that gets on your work space.
I love this product, but as many have previously said, it tends to get sticky with build-up and the roll backs up on itself. If you have had problems in the past with your dispenser backing up, maybe this next part will help: I finally took out the smallest circle/ring (where the "used" portion of glue winds up) and took it apart and cleaned it. There is a small part of this that looks like a "c" and is quite thin: it is also the part that has the tab. This tab is supposed to ride over the top of the big flat white circle and also over the small c-shaped raised portion of the dispenser. I guess I had turned this "c" tab upside down when I had previously cleaned it, and it was causing difficulties in spinning. So far, my dispensor is working great! Hopefully it stays working as well, and maybe this explanation can be of some help.
I love this adhesive dispenser. I haven't had any of the usual problems with things coming un-stuck and then floating around under my page protector. The refills are a bit tricky to install the first time, but the instructions are included in every refill box. My only problem with this dispenser is that it occasionally needs to be de-gunked with some Un-Do when it doesn't wanna roll smoothly anymore. After that fix I'm usually good to go again for at least 3 re-fills before I gotta do it again.
I am very particular about my adhesives - especially in the refillable dispenser category. I had difficulty refilling it the first time (accidentally tossed the directions- oops!). The product comes out nice & clean & the objects stay put. It is so easy to use you can zip through a page in no time with this tool. I also have to say that I live in a very remote small town & both the local craft store & discount store carry refills for this dispenser. I am very happy with it!
When I first started scrapping I used my sister's rollers and always seemed to have problems with it. I went out and bought this one for my own and Love it. I have not had any problems with refilling it nor any problems with piled up gook. I do clean it when I am done scrapping and remove any gook that had piled up. My sister had now resorted to using my adhesive roller when I go over to her place to scrap saying it is much better then any of hers.
This applicator is really easy to use, and fits quite comfortably in my hand. The adhesive itself applies smoothly without any skipping. It's really easy to apply adhesive to curves, and the adhesive is quite sticky from first application which I like, but it's not so sticky that you can't carefully remove something if you place it wrong.

I've used this for over a year. I love the adhesive! I'm more fond of the removable kind because I like to pull things up and move them! I don't think it's that hard to refill but I do get tired of it backing up on itself. I like it because it's not that expensive and it works well!

I love this adhesive...it is really easy to use, and really easy to replace when you need to refill. And, best part of all, it comes off really easily if (ok, when) I make a mistake! Just rub it a little and it comes right up. Great product!

I used this roller for quite a while before I switched to the Therm O Web roller. I do like the product, but I DON'T like what a pain it is to refill. I liked the adhesive itself. It was permanent and did stay in place. When the roller was working well, it was awesome. BUT when it comes time to refill it, you have to roll it just right to fit it in the dispenser and cut the little tail. I am a very common sense person, but this part of the product really irritated me. It seemed every time I thought I got the refill in, it would get hung up on itself and I would have to start over (seemed like a lot of waste to me!). Not to mention all the little adhesive "goobers" that pile up.
