This applicator is really easy to use, and fits quite comfortably in my hand. The adhesive itself applies smoothly without any skipping. It's really easy to apply adhesive to curves, and the adhesive is quite sticky from first application which I like, but it's not so sticky that you can't carefully remove something if you place it wrong.

This adhesive works really, really well. I have never had a problem with it and this will last longer than a lot of others. The only thing I don't like is that I have never been able to use the refills. Each time I tried to refill, I ended up trying to apply w/the cover off because the refill would bind up constantly! The refills just never worked right at all & for the amount of $, I have definitely seen better!

This dispenser works very well when first using it brand new. After using it to apply adhesive to scrapbook pages and swap items the roller area gets all yucky with adhesive clumps. When the roller gets like this it doesn't want to easily roll out the dotto tape.
I've never had a problem replacing the empty roll with a new roll and the refill cartriages aren't too costly for how much adhesive you get, 49 feet.

While I like all of the Herma products, I have had a problem with buildup on the dispenser I purchased. Even with frequent cleaning, I can't seem to get the tape to flow easily. Since reading other reviews, I've decided to purchase a second dispenser and start all over. I'm hoping for better luck this time. P.S. I really appreciate hearing from other reviewers. Thanks.
I have been scrapbooking for a while now and have tried several glue products. There are none like my Herma Dotto Dots Dispenser. I love it to bits!! Easy to use and affortable!!

I bought this a couple of years ago and the original, new tape worked great. I've had problems with the refills, where the dispenser gums up, and the tape backs up on itself. It's frustrating to have to stop in the middle of a project to wind the tape back up. "Degunking" it does not improve this problem. That said, the adhesive works incredibly well. I love that if you make a mistake, you can "un-do" it by rubbing it away. And all of that said, if you don't have a lot of money to invest up-front, this works well for the cost and it is very versatile and portable.

I love this adhesive...it is really easy to use, and really easy to replace when you need to refill. And, best part of all, it comes off really easily if (ok, when) I make a mistake! Just rub it a little and it comes right up. Great product!

I've used this for over a year. I love the adhesive! I'm more fond of the removable kind because I like to pull things up and move them! I don't think it's that hard to refill but I do get tired of it backing up on itself. I like it because it's not that expensive and it works well!

I used this roller for quite a while before I switched to the Therm O Web roller. I do like the product, but I DON'T like what a pain it is to refill. I liked the adhesive itself. It was permanent and did stay in place. When the roller was working well, it was awesome. BUT when it comes time to refill it, you have to roll it just right to fit it in the dispenser and cut the little tail. I am a very common sense person, but this part of the product really irritated me. It seemed every time I thought I got the refill in, it would get hung up on itself and I would have to start over (seemed like a lot of waste to me!). Not to mention all the little adhesive "goobers" that pile up.

I am very particular about my adhesives - especially in the refillable dispenser category. I had difficulty refilling it the first time (accidentally tossed the directions- oops!). The product comes out nice & clean & the objects stay put. It is so easy to use you can zip through a page in no time with this tool. I also have to say that I live in a very remote small town & both the local craft store & discount store carry refills for this dispenser. I am very happy with it!
